Create a Class Event

Club or class administrators can create calendar events for a class.

Club adminstrators can manage class and special event class calendar data from the Class Management Dashboard and Special Event Management Dashboard found in their Club Administrator Tools.

Class adminstrators can manage class calendar data directly from their Class Administrator Tools.

When creating a calander event some information is mandatory as it used to display descriptive information and control event responses elsewhere in Club2Class.

Other fields are optional.

Date & Time

Pick from the calendar and click enter, or type directly into the box and click enter. The box supports multiple Date & Time formats to allow for quick manual entry without the calendar pop up (e.g. 15/08/2018 16:00 or 150820181600). Note: please enter year in full YYYY).

If your event is an all day event, check the Is All Day Event box.

Name / Details

Name of event should be unique and specific e.g. Summer Series Race 1. This will be shown in results displays and used in the automated and custom email functions. Use Details to provide more information about the event.

Event types

You can create different types of calendar events for your class.

Depending on the type of event you choose, information is displayed differently in your club and class overview pages in Club2Class. The event type also controls the format and response choices for any event emails you may choose to send.

Automated emails

You can choose to automatically send an email to your class members regarding an event by ticking the Send Auto Email check box. If this box is checked then an email regarding the event is sent to class members the number of days that you specify before the event.
